Check out this design and more in the Store! Thanks to Alex and Michele for keeping the game alive. I'm kicking around a few ideas for the next contest so keep checking back!
Update 9/4: The Wanderer magnet has made it's way from Port Orchard, WA to Rexburg, ID, covering another 822 miles. It's still in the possession of Alex. She has covered 1,682 miles with it so far putting her way in the lead. With Rexburg being so close to Yellowstone National Park, hopefully some other travel will take over soon and keep the fun going!
Update 8/28: The magnet has resurfaced again! Sure technically according to the rules the contest should be over because there hadn't been check-ins, but I love the concept so much I'll keep it going! It resurfaced in Port Orchard, Washington after being picked up in Santa Cruz, CA. That's 860 miles! And put the new holder, Alex, in the lead by a long distance! What I love most is that Washington is the only state on the West of Montana that we didn't hit on our road trip, so at least the tag made it!
Update 7/19: The 2nd magnet was lifted off my car on July 2nd near June Lake, California. The magnet disappeared for several weeks and was thought to be stolen by another person who wanted to steal joy from the world. Although, this person never checked in, they did put the magnet on a car in San Francisco, CA and the owner of that car was cool enough to check in today. If you're in the San Francisco area or know anyone in the area be sure to tell them to be on the lookout for the Rogue Wanderer magnet!
Update 6/30: Wanderer Tag round 1 was ended by the first person, who must not have wanted to have fun or see other people have fun. The first tag is out of play, so I'm launching the second one as part of my Rogue Trip throughout the Western U.S. It launched on Thursday, July 30th. So far the Tag has made it to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and is on it's way to Yosemite once we depart from this Las Vegas Starbucks. Let's see if someone on the road wants to play along!
THE FIRST TAG IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE SECOND TAG!
Wanderer Tag was started as a creative and fun way to get the word out about Rogue Wanderer! The goal is to get people out to enjoy life and have some fun in the process. The project was launched on May 13th, 2016, with the first end date being August 13th, 2016. The first of the Wanderer Tag magnets (pictured above) was placed on my car at Tempe Beach Park in Tempe, AZ. Sadly, this magnet was lifted by someone who clearly hates fun and never heard from again. The second magnet was launched as part of The Rogue Trip across the Western U.S.
Someone placed Tag #2 on my car over the weekend in San Francisco. Just posted on FB! Thanks for the fun guys!
